A group of 24 Danish whisky connoisseurs, who own their own casks at Ben Nevis and Ben Riach distilleries, chose Robert Fraser Travel to provide their tour.

Day
1 - Arrive at Edinburgh Airport and a scenic journey north to Fort William. First distillery visit of the tour was to the Ben Nevis Distillery, home of one of the groups casks. Overnight at the Alexandra Hotel in Fort William.

Day 2 - Following a hearty breakfast the group left Fort William
to travel through the Great Glen to Inverness. The next distillery
visit was to Ben Riach. The ladies in the group chose to shop
in Elgin whilst the rest of the group enjoyed an exceptional ‘tasting’ experience of ales and whisky at Ben Riach Distillery.
The high point of the visit was signing their names on their cask followed by a taste of the contents. Overnight in Nairn.

Day 3 - A day devoted to whisky, heritage and culture with a visit to the Macallan Distillery, Ballindalloch Castle and a very enjoyable evening dining at The Castle Tavern in Inverness with traditional Scottish entertainment provided by ‘Jock the box’.

Day 4 - The return journey to Edinburgh airport, via the Forth Road Bridge, was punctuated with a stop at House of Bruar for last minute souvenir shopping.

Dear Robert and Alexandra,
On behalf of our whole party I would like to thank you very much, for arranging this magnificent tour, and we have had some experiences, that we will never forget. A special thanks to Robert for safe driving and for having a good sense of humour, and for all the stories and explanations about the Scottish country and the places we passed on our tour. I can assure you that we will contact you again the next time we are coming to Scotland. If not sooner, then when we are coming to bottling our cask. We will give you our best recommendations to everyone, who is planning to come to Scotland and have a personalized tour around in the country.
