
Fort William, the largest town in the west highlands nestles at the foot of Ben Nevis. The area is renowned for its magnificent scenery, highland culture, clan history and distillery. Fort William offers a perfect base for exploring the West Coast of Scotland.

Monday - On your arrival at Glasgow airport your driver will meet you and your journey north will begin. The first stop will be at Loch Lomond for an optional boat trip on the Loch before continuing on to Fort William.

Tuesday - This morning you will board the Jacobite Steam Train at Fort William (the same one used in the Harry Potter films) to travel to Mallaig, famous for its golden sandy beaches. You will travel back to Fort William by coach for a visit to Ben Nevis.

Wednesday - You will leave Fort William in the morning for a full day visit to Inverness. The route takes you along the shores of the loch with its famous inhabitant ’Nessie’. You will get the opportunity for a stop at Fort Augustus and Urquhart Castle before arriving in Inverness where you can enjoy some free time to explore the city and perhaps visit the Victorian Market.

Thursday - Today you go ‘over the sea to Skye’ to enjoy a full day excursion on the beautiful isle. On the route you will see Eilean Donan Castle, the most photographed castle in Scotland, and then on to Kyle of Lochalsh were you will cross the Skye Bridge. No visit to Scotland is complete without a visit to a Malt Whisky Distillery and your day on Skye includes a visit to the Talisker Distillery.

Friday - On your journey south to Glasgow airport you will travel through some of the most dramatic landscape of Scotland with time for a stop at the atmospheric Glencoe, the ‘Glen of the Weeping’ where in 1692 the Campbells massacred the McDonald Clan.
