Day
1 - On your arrival in Glasgow you will be transported
to your Glasgow Hotel. Your visit will start with
a tour around the City of Glasgow where you will see
George Square in the heart of the city, Glasgow Cathedral,
the only Scottish mainland medieval cathedral to survive
the Reformation and magnificent examples of Charles

Day
2 - You leave Glasgow and head northwest for the
Isle of Skye. You pass through some of the most scenic
areas of Scotland namely, Loch Lomond, the largest
stretch of inland water in Britain then onto the dramatic
and historic Glencoe, site of the 1692 massacre of
the Clan MacDonald. Your journey to Skye takes you
through Fort William to Mallaig where you board the

Day
3 - Today you explore the magical Isle of Skye
with visits to the Black Houses, Flora MacDonald's
grave, Dunvegan Castle and time for a visit to the
only distillery on Skye, the Talisker Distillery.

Day
4 - You leave Skye and head for Inverness via
Loch Ness, famous for its mysterious inhabitant. There
will be time for a stop at the ruins of Urquhart Castle,
one of the largest castles in Scotland. Your journey
takes you onto Culloden, the site of the battle in
1746 where Bonnie Prince Charlie was defeated marking
the end of the Jacobite rebellion. (Overnight Inverness)

Day
5 - Heading east from Inverness you travel to
Aberdeen known as the 'Granite City'. You will have
time for shopping at Johnsons of Elgin the famous
cashmere centre and for a visit to Strathisla Distillery.
The oldest working distillery in the Highlands and
home to Chivas Regal one of the best know deluxe blended

Day
6 - After a city tour of Aberdeen you venture
into Royal Deeside with a visit to Braemar, famous
for its Highland games followed by a visit to Balmoral
Castle, the Highland holiday home of the Royal Family

Day
7 - Today you leave Aberdeen and head towards
St. Andrews, 'the home of golf'. Before reaching St.
Andrews you will stop at Glamis Castle which is famous
for being the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth, The
Queen Mother, and birthplace of Princess Margaret.
One of the oldest parts of the castle is Duncan's
Hall, legendary setting for Shakespeare's Macbeth.

Day
8 - After a tour of St. Andrews you follow the
coastal route through the pretty fishing villages
in the east Neuk of Fife with whitewashed buildings
with red pantiled roofs overlooking cobbled winding
streets leading to secluded little fishing harbours.
If time permits you will visit historic Falkland.
The Palace at Falkland was the favourite hunting lodge
of the Stuart Kings and Mary, Queen of Scots. (Overnight

Day
9 - You leave St. Andrews to head towards Edinburgh
crossing over the Forth Road Bridge. After settling
into your Edinburgh hotel you will then have time
to explore the city centre and have an opportunity
to purchase some last minute souvenirs. (Overnight

10 - Your last day will include a city tour of
Edinburgh before being transported to the airport
for your flight home.
